Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) had a strong reaction Friday to a recent video showing U.S. Marines urinating on Taliban bodies.
“Unless you have been shot at by the Taliban, shut your mouth, war is hell,” Allen, a former Army lieutenant colonel, wrote in an email to The Weekly Standard.
“All these over-emotional pundits and armchair quarterbacks need to chill,” the congressman wrote.
