Mike Harris, a financial editor at Veterans Today, says President Obama has not yet addressed America’s “fundamental problems.”
He told the U.S. Desk that Obama has done at least one “significant” thing so far, which is the appointment of Senator Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense. “I think that was a brilliant move.”
But he admitted that so many problems are still unresolved. “We have an unemployment problem, we have a financial problem, we have economic problems, [and] we have a problem with rampant criminality in the government and within Wall Street. And none of these problems are being addressed by either party.”
